[LG-list] FINAL RACE and Awards at Carl R's

TOO CLOSE TO CALL. 
The Wednesday Night Series' last race is August 27th with the after-race Awards Party at Carl R's Cafe at Exit 18 off the Northway. This is the last opportunity to move up in the standings and be one of the top 16! Yes, there are awards for almost everyone! Everyone is invited so that is an award in itself. See you there!
Also the J/24, Fleet 24 Championship awards will be presented at  Carl R's after the race so be sure to bring your crew and come for the results and awards and free food and beer, sponsored by Carl R's and Fleet 24.
A LOOK AT THE STANDINGS.
With Joy out at the Worlds this week and RC for next Wednesday, his score will stay at 25. 
So who can catch him? 
Spirit is out for repairs from a collision at the Oswego regatta so we have to use up a throwout, but a good race next Wednesday still keeps us in contention for a top 5 spot. 
If Flying Circus gets another victory that will move him into a tie for first place. 
Crackerjack as well could tie for first place if he wins next Wednesday.
Wild Thing is right on the borderline at 6th place but with a good score could move into the top 5. 
The sleeper is Vaporize who with a win can move into second place!
 
But it doesn't stop at the top. There is a race for the SWEET 16. Cut Loose, Double Trouble, Revolution, and Fat Star, need to post a respectable finish to be one of the top 16 and receive a really cool prize. You have to be present to win.
